Disability Numbers
Each year, to commemorate the anniversary of the ADA, the U.S. Census Bureau creates a fact sheet on Americans with disabilities.

Find Census statistics on disability for your town, city, state, or region. To find out population, age, and employment statistics for people with disabilities in your area, visit http://censtats.census.gov/pub/Profiles.shtmlSelect your state, type in the city or town, if desired, and click "Go". Click one of the resulting links to area statistics.
On the resulting PDF file, go to Table DP-2 on page 2. At the bottom of this second page, you will find the section "Disability Status of the Civilian Noninstitutionalized Population".
